This course introduces massage therapists to the foundational concepts and techniques of acupressure and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) meridian theory. Students will explore the energetic anatomy of the body, including the twelve major meridians, and learn how to apply pressure to specific acupoints to promote balance, circulation, and healing.

Coursework includes locating key meridians and points, treatment flows for common client complaints, and techniques for stimulating qi using appropriate hand pressure. Students will also learn how to ethically and effectively integrate acupressure into massage therapy sessions within scope of practice.
