Massage therapists work in environments where they may interact with clients experiencing a wide range of circumstances, making awareness of human trafficking an important component of professional education and client safety.

This course provides massage therapists with foundational knowledge about human trafficking, including common forms of trafficking, potential indicators of exploitation, and circumstances that may raise concern. Students will learn how trafficking can affect individuals and how certain signs may present during a massage therapy appointment.
